What is The Culture Ministry?

The Culture Ministry is an organisation focused on developing and supporting people who want a career diversity and inclusion. The Culture Ministry brings people working in D&I together to collaborate and support with each other and connects you to a network of people interested in and also experienced in D&I, curated resources, tools, events, news. You can receive our newsletters by email and also join The Culture Club.


What is The Culture Club?

This is a paid membership subscription site giving access to a private Facebook group and curated content on The Culture Club website.


How does The Culture Club help people wanting to work in D&I?

It gives members access to a whole range of curated and up to date resources that help you learn about different aspects of working in D&I. Some of the resources are related to D&I topics including gender, race and disability and others relate to skills or competences that need to be developed to be successful, like change management, communication and influencing skills, using data to make decisions and build business cases and project management.


How does the membership work?

When you join The Culture Club you will have access to all the resources on the website plus be given access to our private Facebook group where you can ask questions and get help and assistance from others.


What is the difference between a monthly membership and annual membership?

A monthly membership is paid by the month on an auto renew basis each month on your credit card. The current monthly amount is SGD 49 or equivalent. The annual membership is paid in a lump sum of SGD 495 which renews automatically each year and saves you SGD 93.  If you would like an alternate way to pay please get in touch.


How does Corporate memberships work?

We will design a corporate membership that works best for your organisation taking into consideration how many people you would like to give access to, whether your organisation would like to support The Culture Ministry, promote your brand and run events at a reduced price. Please get in contact for a discussion.


How does membership renewals work?

When your membership is ready for renewal your upcoming payment will be processed automatically unless you have cancelled your membership in the meantime.


How can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership at any point by visiting your Membership Details page when signed in to your profile. Please note that at least 3 business day’s notice is required in advance of your next billing date. The cancellation will become effective at the end of your current billing period, so you can continue to enjoy the full benefits of your subscription until then.


Where are you based?

Singapore but we support people across Asia, Australia, New Zealand and India and beyond who are purpose driven and want to drive change and improve diversity and inclusion in organisations.


Can I write a book review? Or be on your podcast? Or be part of an event?

Yes we are always looking for contributors. Please get in touch

Event FAQ’s

I’m not a member of The Culture Club. Can I still attend events?

Yes. Some events may be free for members and there may be a charge for non-members but we would love to have you along even if you haven’t joined.  


I can’t attend the event anymore. What do I do?

For online events your ticket gives you access to the recording. If the event is face-to-face you many transfer your ticket to a friend or colleague. Depending on the event there may be no refunds given.


I’d like to contribute to the work The Culture Ministry is doing. What should I do?

Send us a pitch including your bio and examples of work you have done. We are always looking for guests on our podcast A Dog Called Diversity, speakers for our events and people to write articles and book reviews. Please email getincontact@thecultureministry.com


Membership FAQ’s

What’s included in my membership?

You will have access to all the membership content including a library of resources including curated research and news articles, how to guides and tools, specific organisations to help in specific areas of D&I, recommended TED talks and podcasts and people to follow who advocate for specific areas of D&I . You will also have access to free and discounted events, D&I book reviews and The Culture Club private Facebook page full of D&I professionals.

What types of membership do you have?

We have monthly recurring memberships, annual memberships (where you save a little if you pay all at once) and Corporate memberships. Corporate memberships allow multiple people in your organisation to have access to The Culture Club as well as some additional benefits. Get in touch to find out more.


Where can I update my credit card details?

Login to your account, go to the payments section and add new payment method.


I don’t have a credit card but would like to join The Culture Club. What can I do?

We can accept bank transfers for annual and corporate memberships and for one off events. Get in touch and we will be happy to assist.


Can I just subscribe to your newsletter emails?

Yes we have a complementary newsletter and you can fill out your details and subscribe at the bottom of this page.


How can I be part of your Facebook group?

Only members of The Culture Club can access the Facebook group. We would love to welcome you as a member and you can find out more and join here.
